SPINUnsilent Night in December 2014. The project was originally realized for Nuit Blanche Toronto in 2012. SPIN is a large-scale projection-based installation that utilizes traditional stop-motion animation techniques. Through this installation I explored the concepts of motion and light. Each of these elements denotes distinctive qualities yet, when combined together produces a stunning sensory experience at such a large scale.
Curated by Suzanne Luke, Robert Langen Art Gallery, Wilfrid Laurier University.
SPIN was an official Independent Project of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche.
A special thanks to Christie Digital, the Ontario Arts Council, and Wilfrid Laurier University for their support of this project.
